CPTCSM-   Clinical Pastoral Training Center of Southern Maine

Starting in January of 2016, the Abbey will be launching a Clinical Pastoral Training Program through our training center, CPTCSM.  CPTCSM will offer clinical pastoral training in the CPSP modality.  CPSP,  College of Pastoral Supervision & Psychotherapy, is a theologically based covenant community, dedicated to “Recovery of Soul.”             Next unit begins on April 6.  Applications for that unit will be received by March 1.

CPT is training for folks who want to deepen and develop their ministerial skills, train in professional pastoral care giving skills and broaden their skill sets.  Ministers looking for professional development and expanded clergy group, parishioners who wish to develop skills for a visitation ministry or counselors who want to add spiritual care to their perspective are examples of folks who would benefit from a unit or units of CPT.
