Letting Go by Peggy Williams

Grace is letting go
of what no longer serves me;
sports prowess,
rowing at dawn across Casco Bay,
heirlooms in the attic,
a friendship gone awry,
running… the dark, on ice, snow, in downpours,
a place called Zancudo.
one too many book groups, get-togethers or classes,
unworkable expectations of myself and others.
Coming to peace with less.
More process, less product.
